I haven't memed for many months, but this one (stolen from mytholderand natural20) amuses me.

Go to the Wikipedia home page and click random article. That is your band's name.

So... Assisi Embroidery have a new album, George Villiers, with the following tracks:
  1. Northampton Sand
  2. Philomela
  3. Franconian Wine Towns
  4. Mervyn Blake
  5. Andante for Flute and Orchestra
  6. Ro Laren
  7. Flying Fox
  8. Playboy of the West Indies
  9. Bukit Panjang Single Member Constituency
  10. Grobda
  11. Fan Tan Alley
  12. Damo Suzuki
  13. Santa Clara, Texas
  14. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences
  15. Valentin Badea
I'm getting a very postrock/artcore vibe from this selection, personally, with classical and European influences; it's all very Godspeed You Black Emperor or Mogwai. And that's not a bad thing.

Nice to see a track inspired by my favourite recurring character from Star Trek: The Next Generation on there.

I like Assisi Embroidery for a band name. Really looking forward to hearing Franconian Wine Towns, Flying Fox and Fan Tan Alley. ;)

Oooh, 'Northampton Sand' sounds as though it would be so cruisy. And I bet you could dance the cha cha to 'Santa Clara, Texas'...
